Lauren Steadman has already made Strictly Come Dancing history by being the first disabled star to make it to the semi-finals – but now shes going for gold.

The tri-athlete, who never had an arm, has revealed that she hopes to make history once again by making it through to next weeks grand finale.

Speaking to Metro.co.uk, she said: The competitor in me always wanted to make it as far as I possibly could. Every week has brought challenges but together with AJ, who has been nothing short of amazing, we have managed to overcome them.

Her level of commitment is immense and we are both focused on going all the way and making it into the finals next week, he told us. Laurens message is an important one, dont let anything hold you back, she has educated me constantly along the way.

To have her dancing in the finals, making history as the first time someone with a disability has done so would be an amazing achievement – not only for her, but for the show.
