Neymar hints to Manchester City star Benjamin Mendy he is open to future Premier League move

PSG and Brazil forward Neymar has opened the door to joining the Premier League at some point in his career.

Neymar became the most expensive player in history after joining PSG from Barcelona last year in a deal worth almost £200million.

But he has endured a turbulent spell in the French capital and has been persistently linked with a departure from the Parc des Princes.

And Neymar has reiterated his admiration for the Premier League and says every great player should have a spell in England.

The Brazilian was asked about his Premier League aspirations by Manchester City defender Benjamin Mendy, who was one of a number of current and former players to ask him questions on his YouTube channel.

Mendy said: Neymar Jnr, answer me in French. Do you think youll one day play in the Premier League?

Neymar replied: It is a big competition, one of the greatest in the world.

We dont know what will happen tomorrow but I believe that every great player, at least one day, has to play in the Premier League.

If youre playing there, I hope you can keep enjoying the Premier League, because you deserve only the best.

Neymar, 29, also joked to England legend David Beckham he would one day sign for his MLS franchise.

The Manchester United hero asked: When you finish playing in Europe, will you come to Miami, please?

And Neymar responded: David, its done! Ill come to Miami, your city, your team.
