Love Island has been pushed back to 10pm as England failed to win their semi-final during 2018 World Cup.

?BREAKING ? Weve gone into extra time ⚽but dont panic #LoveIsland will be on at 10pm ????? @LoveIsland, the ITV2 Twitter account tweeted on Wednesdya night as the game went into extra time.

However they had clearly tweeted the same info as when they pushed back the episode during the last 16 matches, as they included the hashtag #ENGCOL and not #ENGCRO.

While the entire nation was on the edge of its seats as England aimed to make World Cup history, Love Island fans may well had another concern on their minds.

Wednesday nights instalment of Love Island was originally scheduled to be on at 9.30pm but when the game ended in a draw, it was pushed back to allow for extra time and penalties should the match come to it.
