She might have proven adept in the kitchen – but when it comes to the ice rink Candice Brown is clearly finding things a little more challenging.

Because the former Bake Off winner – who’s now turning her attentions to ITV’s Dancing On Ice revival – admits in this first look at the show that it’s not quite as easy as it looks.

As the show’s newest crop of celebs take to the ice in training, Candice is seen attempting to get to grips with the rink – and even taking a tumble at one point – before declaring: ‘I think I nearly weed myself!’

That’s probably a little more information than we needed to know Candice – but thanks anyway.

‘If anyone had said to me “you will be on Dancing On Ice”, I’d have said “yes, good one”.

‘I’m trying my hardest to be elegant,’ she adds, ‘maybe more like a hippo in a tutu!’

But she’s not the only one struggling to stay upright as Love Islander Kem Cetinay also takes a tumble during training.

‘I always wanted to ice skate but I just never could. I used to go on a Friday with my friends and they were all good but I used to end up sitting in the canteen eating a burger ’cause it was only 99p.

‘This is my chance to get good at ice-skating…it’s going to be so exciting.’

The clip also sees the likes of Donna Air, Perri Shakes-Drayton, Lemar and Max Evans showing off what they’ve learned on the ice so far – with varied results.

We’ll find out how they’re really getting on when Dancing On Ice kicks off on ITV on January 7.
